Questions About the Law of Attraction

Your questions have been heard. Over the past couple of weeks I've received several questions about the Law of Attraction. The most common one being, "Does it work?" I'll answer that with a resounding YES. And let me say this again even more strongly... it doesn't matter if you believe it or not. It's the Law. What you think about the most manifests in your life. Sometimes your thoughts manifest almost immediately, especially if you are in a highly charged emotional state.

Consider this story...

About a month ago my kids and I went to Michigan to visit family and friends. I drove all night to get there so of course I was exhausted. First thing we did was go to the beach and spend several hours enjoying the sun and sand. I dropped off my older kids and my youngest son and I continued on to my brother's house, which was an hour away. After a while my son fell asleep and I drove on enjoying the day and the scenery.

If you've been in the northern part of West Michigan, you know that mountainous bluffs grace the shoreline of Lake Michigan. If you haven't been there suffice it to say the beauty is breathtaking with the tall trees, high hills, and long sloping roads. Anyway, my son and I were within a mile of my brother's house when I got pulled over for speeding. I groaned and thought, oh crap... here we go... With a sinking feeling in my heart I dug out the insurance and registration papers while the officer approached my car.

When I glanced down at the registration I realized it was expired! I said to myself, Oh no...oh that does it... I'm hit...big big ticket. Then I started to giggle... by the time the officer got to my window I had to restrain myself from laughing in his face. I didn't say anything about the expired registration, just handed him my paperwork and sat back to wait. The officer returned to his car and set about verifying my credentials.

While he was gone, I thought to myself, Ok...so if i can create my reality, right now I'm creating NO TICKETS...I do not want any traffic tickets whatsoever and I'm driving away from here with no tickets. Well, I sort of laughed to myself and thought no way he's letting me go... but then I thought again...but I don't want a speeding ticket and a ticket for no registration... this guy's got to let me go with NO TICKETS...

Moments later the officer returned to my car. I sat calmly and accepted my fate... I reached out to get my tickets and the officer handed me my proof of insurance and expired registration. He said, "Ok Tracey...I'm going to let you off with a warning... Watch your speed." He turned around and walked back to his car.

I know my mouth was hanging open...

With my thoughts, I put out into the universe that I wanted NO TICKETS, that I wasn't having any tickets and wouldn't accept any tickets. In an instant, I attracted no tickets! Well, then I was really just madly giggling.

So... yeah... it works. Cool, huh?

If you examine your life up till now you may find that the "Law of Attraction" has worked in your life everyday. The Law may not always bring what you expect, but it certainly brings what you think about. Specific, highly emotionally charged thoughts seem to bring the quickest results.

In the example above, I was in an extreme emotional state. I was happy and excited, because I was home for the first time in a year and I had been pulled over by the cops. We all know how nerve wracking that is...'nuff said.

So, the question here is...what are we attracting when we are in an extreme negative emotional state? If we attract what we think about, what exactly are we attracting?

Therein lies the golden key to the "Law of Attraction" ... which could just as easily be called the "Law of Receiving Abundance and Joy" if only we all knew how to use it!

The Irrefutable "Law of Attraction"

By now you've all heard about "The Secret" and the "Law of Attraction." This is a law that's been around since before humans were here, just like gravity or karma or The Golden Rule. It's an irrefutable law that was put in place to ensure we all get what we want. It's our birthright.

There's only one problem... most of us don't believe in it.

Which creates an even bigger problem.

See, the "Law of Attraction" doesn't care if you believe it or not... it acts anyway. Take a moment to think about this simple truth. I'll say it again...the "Law of Attraction" works regardless of whether or not you believe in it.

The fact is whatever you believe, BECOMES YOUR REALITY!

So, let's say (just for instance) you are saying to yourself over and over..."I need more money". By this statement you are not attracting money, you are attracting the need for money! You are telling the universe over and over that you need money...so of course you are ALWAYS going to need money. Or if you are telling yourself over and over..."I need to meet someone who loves me just for me"... you are still attracting the NEED... not the PERSON you want to meet.

So tomorrow morning I want you to try something new... oh hell, don't even wait till tomorrow... start now... Instead of telling yourself you need money, tell yourself you HAVE money or your perfect mate or whatever it is you really want. Tell yourself you ALREADY have it and KNOW it's true! Since the law is in place anyway, why not take advantage of it?

The cosmos wants you to succeed. That's why the "Law of Attraction" is in place. And chances are you are succeeding daily in using the law. But unless you understand your own powers of creation you may be creating undesirable situations without even realizing you created it.

Do you ever get tired of those canned spam messages? You know the ones… they all look the same. They show up in your inbox with a nice white background, pontificating about how “THIS WILL WORK FOR YOU” or how you’ll “MAKE THOUSANDS PER DAY.”

The only difference between one message and another is the links in ‘em. Jeeeez, you’d think those guys would get tired of sending the same message over and over. And all the while, here you are, checking the inbox thinking, I’m pretty sure this guy’s going to say the same thing the last guy said.

Maybe you don’t even read them. Sometimes I don’t. I just hit delete! While this is a real convenient e-mail feature if you’re the potential customer, it sucks if you’re the guy trying to sell something. You’re a marketer, you can relate…

Now don’t get me wrong. Not every program you get in your e-mail is bogus. There are a lot of legitimate programs out there that actually work. We’ve all probably deleted some money makers. What I’m complaining about is the approach. Without that human touch, that special spark of human input, those messages are just like static on the radio… you turn the channel.

Maybe you can relate to this too. Let’s see… I’ve tried mass ads, email leads, affiliate programs, websites, work at home directories, blah, blah, blah… but not much success was forthcoming. I was forced to re-examine my efforts. Why wasn’t I succeeding?

While scouring the virtual world over, looking for that one lucky break or secret program to wealth, I started to really see the guys who’re making the big money. I stepped back and saw them all as a whole and I realized something. ALL the Internet millionaires and marketing gurus have one thing in common. As a matter of fact, most of them TOLD me to do this. Unfortunately, this one thing gets overlooked all the time.

The magic guru secret? EVERYONE knows who they are! “Well, yeah” you say. “That’s what makes ‘em gurus, Tracey”. My answer to this is “Yeah…but they weren’t always gurus”…

Which raises the question, “Who were they before they were gurus?”

Truth is…they were YOU. Just like you… searching, wondering, waiting for the lucky break. In all honesty, most of them got tired of waiting and CREATED their lucky break. How? By BRANDING themselves!

A master marketer reveals himself so you begin to trust him. You begin to believe in him and whatever he’s selling. You might not buy anything right away, but he doesn’t mind. He knows it’s just a matter of time before you do. Pretty soon he’ll stand out from the other guys. Why? Because it’s hard to relate to “canned spam.” It’s much easier to relate to another human being.

Think about it…everyone’s heard of Stone Evans, Jim Daniels, Bob Proctor, Paul Birdsall, Deepok Chopra, etc… How did these guys get so famous?

Simple. The gurus got famous because they spoke up. They exposed themselves to the public, weren’t afraid to express their opinions, and created excitement about the information they were offering. In other words, they used a human approach to marketing. Rather than the “canned spam” messages that delivered nothing except diverted words promising air and no real content, these guys actually delivered practical advice and useful tools. By doing this they developed a relationship with the public, creating more and more loyal followers…i.e. customers.

You might be saying, “But Tracey, I have useful tools and practical advice. I’m still not going anywhere.” My answer is “Then you’re not BRANDED yet.”

So, what is branding? And how do you get branded?

First and foremost, you must establish your presence on the internet. There are so many ways to do this, I can’t even begin to list them all in one newsletter, but here’s a few pointers…

Ø First, get a website with your own unique domain name. This is the very best place to establish yourself as an expert. Don’t get me wrong here. There are GREAT affiliate programs in place on the internet and some are very lucrative. But how will you convince people they should buy the product from you? Unless you’re going to keep sending “canned spam” and hoping someone buys something, you need to have a place to establish your worth. A place to stand your ground and prove to your customers that you have something they need. A website is a great place to do this.

Ø Next, if you’re not ready for a website, start a blog. If you’ve got a website, start a blog. You can get a free blog from the “Google Gods” at www.blogger.com. You can go to www.dada.net and actually get paid to write blogs and upload photos. www.Helium.com is another awesome place to establish your self as an expert in your field, gain exposure, and make some cash. Helium.com is a great tool for measuring the effectiveness of your writing, since you get paid by your popularity with the readers! If you don’t think you write well, you can still start a blog! You can go to any variety of free article sites and get content for your blog. To top it all off, you can make money by displaying Google Ads on your blog.

Ø Finally, get a system. You’ll probably spend a lot of time developing your own system. As a matter of fact, to successfully brand yourself, you’re eventually going to need your own product or system. Clickbank made it easy to put thousands of affiliates to work virally marketing your website.(How many ads is that?)In the meantime, to get your multiple income streams flowing, there are literally hundreds of excellent marketing programs available. However, if you’re working on branding yourself a word of caution is advised. Remember, the products you market now are laying the groundwork for your credibility with your clients later. Absolutely, always, and forever amen… work only with reputable companies! Look for expert systems designed to help you maximize your profits through cooperative marketing and list building. You’ve now got the basic tools you need to start branding yourself. Remember, first get a website. Next, establish yourself as an expert by blogging or article submission. Last, get a system for marketing your business, affiliate program, or your own product.

The emphasis these days is on social and cooperative networking. Everyone is aware of the huge social network growth on the internet. Platforms like MySpace, Microsoft Live, FaceBook, Dada.net, and FameCast are growing with astonishing speed. The trend is expected to continue, because of the potential for growing business and personal relationships worldwide.

New interactive sites are popping up every day. Audio e-mail messages, YouTube videos, and flash website presentations are just the beginning. The trend is toward a more personal marketing style. Let’s face it, when people are shopping at your online store they’ll trust you more if they’ve seen you around the internet. Your customers will know you’re real. You might be like them. You might even become a friend.
