Well, here it is, as promised! The unveiling of the newest, hottest trend in social marketing and online gaming. On the main page of my blog I've got a video and news feed about eVo, Project e-Play, and VWD (the genius marketers behind eVo).

In fact, casual games platforms have decided to link the social networking concept and tools to their on line games platform, as they see their business growing by adding this feature. EA Games/Pogo.com and iVillage are a great example and you can read an article published February, 2007 at Club GameZone news about the cooperative efforts of these two giants.
In an article published in July, 2006 USA Today reports, "Casual games — generally defined as easy-to-learn, one-player games that you can play for five minutes or five hours — are alluring to companies in part because they tend to attract women and people over 35. That's quite a different audience than the young men traditionally associated with video game consoles and other types of computer games." The article further reflects, "DFC Intelligence estimates that revenues from casual games worldwide will grow to $953 million this year, from $713 million last year, after steadily rising from $228 million in 2002."
